The breakfast was good but choices are limited!

Safety of the landscaping is neglected i fall on the bike and I had a bad accident

beautifully designed and planned all the public spaces and toilets was immaculately clean and safe the food is of the highest standard and quality

there was NOTHING to be disliked

over priced I had to pay AED 34000 for 2 nights?

The only good thing I can say about Ritz is that breakfast was good, they import lots of Australian and British products which I like but that’s totally not the reason for me to pay more in Maldives.

!Unnecessary overpriced Ritz Carlton - Rip off! We choose Ritz as our first time in Maldives and As I often travel 5 star hotels I trusted the brand. We were supposed to stay 6 days but after 2 day there it was a clear rip off. When we booked it was 10235$ + tax and charge ( booking confirmation attached in the photos. When we arrived in resort my butler told me it will be 30000$ for the whole stay. How can it grow so much from what was promised during booking?so total we paid 14.000 for 3 days I found it as a rip off. Don’t promise one price and then charge double. Be transparent We paid 4000$ for a water villa per night +everything else was extra charge. So the first night dinner in Chinese restaurant was disaster we paid 200 $ for very basic food, and the 2 prawns (90$) were dry and over cooked we didn’t pay for. This was their best restaurant. The service was not good, the cleaning team would come when they have time and not when we asked for something. So often they would clean when we are in the room. The patio near the pool in our room didn’t had enough shade during the day so it was not pleasant to stay out and I had to stay inside. When I asked for inflatable ring, they said they don’t have. Nobody even offered to me a snorkeling mask to dive around the villa (only need to go to the paid excursion) I hurt my leg while going down the stairs into the water from my villa. Not well made stairs Overall very boring all day on the island. We went to the main pool, also no zone for a shadow, everything super hot. Not enough greenery compared with another island, because it does makes difference , you breath better. I went on the internet and found Kuda Villingli resort 20 min away. From Ritz it would cost 1500$ from Kuda Villingli 900$ for the same identical type of private speed boat. Question for what pay more?

they providing complementary mineral waters but unreliable water I drank one of these cans and its tasted was perfume ... when I complaint about that to my Buttler Shaghaf she apologized then she provided large aquapenna bottles.. why they didn't provid this from the first day this is management responsibility!! I paid a lot for this villa!! won't be here again shame on you ...
